Opportunity Snapshot:
- Join the world's largest wholesale data center provider and gain broad exposure to the data center business, including design & construction, operations, and asset management. Work with industry leaders and contribute to sales efforts in the fast-growing retail colocation business.
 
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the sales team in technical sales solutions and be involved in all stages of the sales cycle.
 - Lead responses to RFPs and conduct data center tours, providing technical information.
 - Support lease negotiations by ensuring terms match technical specifications and assisting with pricing.
 - Coordinate implementation and deployment post-lease, serving as the primary customer contact.
 - Engage in direct prospect interactions, proposal generation, pricing, and contract negotiations.
 - Evaluate customer needs, design solutions, and respond to customer RFPs.
 - Develop cost-engineering and profitability models for large customer opportunities.
 - Provide input and support for Design and Construction teams and act as a subject matter expert for assigned buildings.
 - Generate sales leads, participate in forecasting and market analysis, and represent the company at industry events.
 
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in a B2B sales environment, preferably in telecommunications, networking, data security, or related fields.
 - Strong customer-facing skills and the ability to discuss data center solutions with big data/power users.
 - Technical savvy with a basic understanding of IT infrastructure needs.
 - Proven project management skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Visio, AutoCAD, and Adobe Acrobat.
 - Ability to translate big-picture requirements into detailed specifications, analyze complex documents, and apply installation standards.
 - Bachelor's degree, ideally in an analytical field like engineering.
 - Strong command of English and Japanese to build solid relationships with stakeholders.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
- Product management experience in IT infrastructure.
 - Consulting experience in segmentation, business development, and go-to-market strategies.
