As a Senior Accountant, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting records in Japan, adhering to both US GAAP and local statutory requirements. You’ll play a key role in improving internal controls and accounting processes, supporting the transition to a new distribution model. Responsibilities include financial reporting, month-end closings, and collaboration with various departments. Your expertise will also contribute to tax compliance and system implementations, ensuring the organization’s financial health and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
- Deep and technical knowledge in accounting, with at least 3+ years of experience in a related field
- College/University degree in Accounting
- Business English fluency, both oral and written
- Proven ability to learn and navigate new systems (e.g., SAP)
Preferred Skills:
- Nissho Boki Grade 2 certification
- Experience with SAP
- Experience working in a multinational organization
