IT Specialist

Job description 

• We are looking for an IT Specialist to be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of our computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines. You will supervise the implementation and maintenance of our company’s computing needs considering global IT policies.

• The position is expected as "Acting Specialist", which strong “hands-on skillsets” are essential. The responsibilities also include that of IT coordinator

• The successful candidate will have improved skills, a seasoned professional experience, and a detailed knowledge of industry’s best practice processes.

• The position also interacts cross functionally and externally. Sufficient communication skill in both Japanese and English is essential

Responsibilities

• Manage information technology and computer systems including Outlook, Office 365, ERP (SAP),
• Salesforce.com and new tools/systems to be implemented or replaced in future.
• Configure and Manage Windows Servers (on-premises, virtualized and cloud-based)
• Configure Office Network (VPN access, WIFI access Points, Switches, VLANs etc.)
• Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
• Work closely with USHQ for networking, infrastructure & cybersecurity policy implementation.
• Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems(on-premises/cloud)
• Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy.
• Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.
• Audit systems and assess their outcomes
• Manage & preserve IT assets, information security and control structures.
• Configure and Manage Video Conference and VOIP phone equipment.

Requirements

• Proven working experience as an IT Specialist or relevant experience.Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer
• hardware/software systems
• Experience of IT system implementation (especially ERP or SCM) and lead of IT related projects
• Solid and cutting-edge knowledge of IT systems and applications
• Expertise in data center management and data governance
• Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
• Ability to manage difficulties organizational and coordination abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Moderate to advanced level of English (Oral/Writing)
• BS in Computer Science, MIS or similar field
